This is my personal opinion. Why does Hollywood waste millions of dollars of fake superhero movies and shows, when our country has millions of heroes we should be documenting and making shows or movie out of.

Oh my ….. How terribly moving. So much respect and admiration for these brave men: Living and Deceased. I am the daughter of a WWII veteran (Pacific Theater) and the niece of an uncle (maternal) who was killed in action in Souk el Arba, Tunisia, North Africa on November 29, 1942, thus depriving my siblings and I the joy of knowing our mother’s beloved brother. The Greatest Generation in every respect. My late mother and I visited the Beaches of Normandy in 2000 where we paid our respects to the men who saved the world from tyranny and fascism. God Bless them all: The living and the dead.

My dad was 35th division, 35th signal company, D-day plus 30, July 4th. He never talked much about the war, except in the company of other vets. Someday I would like to see where he was at over there. Walk in his steps, even for a short while, to honor him.
